Why is it that,

       Why is it that, in this most recent round of oil price ups and downs, that a one or two dollar increase in the price of a barrel causes a five cent increase at the pump, while a ten dollar decrease in the barrel price only gets a on or two cent decrease at the pump? 

      Why is it that, when the government doesn't pay its phone bill for wire taps that when the phone companies get sued for doing these wire taps, congress passes a law to prevent the law suits? Think the phone companies forgave the governments bill for the wire taps?

      Why is it that, most laws take years of committees, debates, studies, rewrites, more debates and committees ect. to benefit the public, when laws that benefit corporations and bigger more intrusive government pass in relatively short time with little public awareness?


      Why is it that, the number one manufacture of, survival long term food storage, has run out of #10 cans?  

      Just some things I was wondering about?

The longer the Congress can spend debating and argueing over the clay content in cat litter, like we need a law to govern that, the less time they have to spend looking at the real issues and showing their ineptitude. They would rather investigate Major League Baseball, (and get Roger Clemens' autograph), than list any sort of priority to their time. Wasn't oil on the increase then? Did it have to wait to be a crisis, weren't home mortgages being dealt out a little too freely, then?
Well, they didn't want to get in the way of money, they had Barry Bonds to deal with.
This is the politics that has to stop. It's not just the R's or D's it's both. if the Republican's have Congress they will investigate the Dem. President for his cigar habit, If it's the other way around it's an arms or oil deal.

Well I'm glad to see somebody is aware of it. We're all pretty much sc*#%ed. We really need to flush the the toilet in DC and get rid of all the s*&#. I see you with a guitar, written any songs about this mess?

when i feel, i feel strongly, rights right and wrong is wrong life is simple and good, can't wait to get to heaven, I miss America, The one I learned about in school, No politician should be alloud to spend more than 2 terms in any office, they loose contact with the people they represent, and get corrupted with power. that goes for all offices. from the pres. down to city dog catcher. If they want to make a life of it, then take a term off just to clear their heads and reconnect. If WE THE PEOPLE don't act and I mean now we won't have to worry about global warming, drug abuse,child abuse, tobacco, rap or rock music, aids, the infrostructure, lead in toy paint,fermaldihyde in fema housing, adultry,taxes, loss of rights, wake up folks. historys repeating as we read this. and the prophets told us along ago time all this was going to happen. go hug a tree, become a big brother or sister, join greenpeace or peta. just realize that if you don't vote everybody out, the cancer will spread. But then again, God's timing is perfect
