all right, here are the stats:

boy, 2nd grade, colorado, wants to be a girl, wear girls clothing:  is being given two bi-restrooms on school campus, permission to change his name to a girl's name, is being given all the state-paid therapy, teaching, etc necessary for a 'smooth transition' from physically being a boy to mentally being a girl (he is still created like a boy).

1.  what is going to happen during the 7th & 8th grades when children's bodys change? 

2.  do you have any idea about how expensive and complicated gender surgery is (both physically & mentally)?

* shaking her head *  "As a public school system, our calling is to educate all kids no matter where they come from, what their background is, beliefs, values, it doesn't matter,"  said Whei Wong, Douglas Co. Schools spokesperson.   Doesn't the school system have the responsibility to protect all children from perversions such as this?  If this child, or parents, wish to continue this kind of chicanery, what are the ramifications of the damage and perversion that is being forced upon unsuspecting young people (would you like to have a 7th grade boy dressed in a skirt go into the P.E. dressing room and begin to change clothing to wear for gym shorts & tops staring at your daughter and 18 other daughters?)...  more to follow

that when you hire a blue-collar worker like a tree trimmer, gardener, house worker, work such as that, they are all nice to you when giving you a quote. 

they are really enthusiastic and helpful, chatting you up until you hang up or part with the promise of hiring them.  then you hire them, arranging for a time appropriate for them to come and do the work, shoot, they are even willing to do some little extra things if you like, and if you really need to dicker about the price, they are willing to come down by $50 or whatever (for a tree trimmer, the fee could be $400, and he would cut the price down to $350). 

then the time comes when they arrive to your place to do the work. they get the equipment set up, and work diligently, very professionally, paying attention to the job, they are really good, and you decide you will up the check to $400 because they are good, and you are getting to know them, and understand them as humans, not as workers.  while the boss is shredding the tree limbs with his right-hand-man, you ask the tree climber to chop down several more smallish trees next to the fence which he gladly does.  suddenly while he is helping you out, the boss cries out for his helper and you sense things are not well as his voice raises above normal.

the boss keeps asking for his payment, rapidly picking up his equipment and only doing the minimal amount of cleanup :( ...

and that is my question, why did he stop talking pleasantly to me?  was it really all about the money?  there have been other workers who have acted that way over the years, and they did the same thing, chatting me up before the job was granted, talking & acting friendly during the job, but then when the time came to be paid and leave, it's like, ppphhheeewwww... look out, there they go, they are gone with the wind... :?

now who is this Felicia Macadu, in the Sheriff's office in Mecklenburg County?  who is she?  jeff katz has just told us on the radio that she is the best qualified to be a sheriff.   and i learned that mackey can't receive a Surety Bond because he filed for bankruptcy (for a debt of more than $300,000?).  and we want HIM to be the Sherfiff?  of a budget of how much?  and he can't even maintain his own personal budgets?  am i missing something here?

MY QUESTION:  WHAT IS A 'SURETY BOND'?

{update}  1 Feby. 2008   mackey doesn't have a national defender who knows him:  Al Sharp doesn't know mackey, and yet he came here to Charlotte to spout off about... well... spouts off about... well, he came here to Charlotte to spout off.

if mackey really cared about Charlotte, he would move to another state and open up a small business, take his pick, and just earn a living like the rest of us.

{initial comment}  well, well, so it has finally become race... but how come?  i thought the democrats were the most non-racist political party in the world?  i thought barak, and hillary, and mackey, and the democrats were non-racist...?  :/  i'm just wonderin is all...

mackey is in contempt of court... (my thought, is this how a sheriff behaves to the courts?)

mackey has been sued by a black family for practicing bad law (they paid him for a job, and he took their money and didn't give them any service),

{updated comment, 1 Feby 2008}  so jeff is now speaking to Charlotte on Saturday mornings.  good.  he needs to.  at last someone who is willing to expand his outreach, no, OUR outreach, as is needed.  giving up his Saturday mornings at the expense of his family.  thank you, Jeff Katz family, for giving up your family member so that we in the Charlotte area can have a spokesperson to stand up for what is right, to give the rest of us a voice at a time when liberals are screaming at every turn of the corner.

{initial comment}  after living in our home for almost 26 years, and not getting radio reception from charlotte all these years, i am delighted to finally find a boom box in one of the upstairs bedrooms with a large antenna, and lo and behold, i have reception near the window of my living room!  am i gob-smacked or what :)  and the more i hear this guy jeff katz ( who, btw, is someone my husband has been listening to since the git-go on his drives home from his charlotte place of work ) , the more i think, well i'll be, listen to that, i have a mouth-piece after all, there is a person in the news world who speaks for me :) .  this has made my week.

i protest the hostile actions against the USMC in san francisco Recruiting Stations by this operation code pink association that is currently happening.  i am just now tuning in and listening to the negative actions taken by this 'pink' group designed to get rid of the Marine Corps from the berkeley area?  i'm being careful about what i say until i hear exactly what is going on.  the city council and the mayor of berkeley is objecting to the presence of The Corps. 

now this is interesting... someone has gotten on line and says that we would be saving money if we took our Marine Presence from berkeley and build a wonderful Recruit Station nearby where we are wanted and appreciated.
