Sunday at around 1-2 pm my husband and I were sitting on OLD MONROE RD IN MONROE AT ENGLESIDE when a "DARK  BLUE OR BLACKGMC TRUCK, speeding, hit us from behind, propelling us into on comming traffic and across into Engleside drive. I was injured and crying, my husband has stiffness in his neck and back, but we were left alone, hurt and could have went into to shock if not for my medical training. This person did not care, they just left, their truck was injured and smoking. Some lady said she was in her home and heard the crash and ran out and could only see it was a dark blue GMC truck.

Our car was older so we had only libility on the car. Hit and runs are not covered in NC. Bet you did not know that. SO we have no car now. I have minor back injurys and have to be seen on gong until am okay. My husband too. We will have medical coverage but that does not cover us completely

The point is this person will do it again and again and they could kill someone, someones family you or me next time.

Please help us find them. The police don't have the time to do a good search. Call repair shops, send this blogg to all you know in the area and tell them to do the same please. Lets catch this peson and make them pay and make them accountable for this Felony.

Pray they come forward.

I need my car and it a mess. I can't drive it and its all we have

Can you pleae help us. Email us or contact the monroe police department.
