OK!!! Here's the final skinny on the Design Challenge Contest. If you have an image you want to submit, here's how we can get your images into the Design Challenge Photo Album.
You can post your image to your own photo album. Once you do that, respond to this blog or the DESIGN CHALLENGE blog and let me know if I have your permission to copy/save your image. At that point, if I have your permission, I'll create a new blog and post your image in it for all to see.
I'll do this with 5 images at a time.
Ok, let me know if you have any questions. This will be something fun for everyone to do. HAPPY BLOGGING and GOD-SPEED with your designing. Be sure to check out some of the examples that I've included in the album.
L8R!
P.S. Make sure your submissions are 320x240
Ok. Here's your chance to show the world what you can do. For those who are interested, this is your opportunity to design ONE 320 x 240 image based on one of the following topics:
Your Favorite Band
Your Favorite Movie/Actor/Actress
Your Personality
The Most Influential Person to you
We're asking that you only upload one image. Upload your image to the "Design Challenge" photo album. In 30 days, we'll announce the winner. And the prize for winning is a good ole' pat on the back! (Actual pat on the back is suggested to be given to the winner by himself/herself)
And of course feel free to post a comment with any questions you may have.
Happy Designing!
As some of you may have noticed, FOX Charlotte has a new website. It is a HUGE difference from the previous version. It has pages for just about anything relevant to the station. Weather, video bios, health, even pages for each of the shows.
But the real question is... do you like it?
Is it too much of a real estate change from the old one that overwhelms the user? Or are some of you completely new to the site and think its ok?
Here's my take on it. Based on the graphics, the anchors, the writing, and even the promotional spots that come out of FOX Charlotte, this new site seems very
"grid-like". It's delegated, symetrical, consistent. The news anchors, however, are energetic, dynamic, and very personable. I think both the website and the station itself compliment one another.
What do you think? Anything you'd change, add, or do away with?
